What is Inside?
The kit will provide you the essentials.
- Dust collector (The dust collector contains a main holder, a cap on each end and a filter insert)
- 1x re-sealable bag for the dust collector.
- Sampling instructions and Chain-of-Custody (COC) form.
- 1x pair of sterile disposable gloves

You will need to have the following
- Vacuum Cleaner.
- 1x tape measure.
- 1x Stop watch, Timer, or a clock/watch with second hand.
- 1x roll of masking tape (or any tape that could map out the sampling area).
Overview
Health Effects Roster of Type Specific Formers of Mycotoxins and Inflammagens – 2nd Version (HERTSMI-2) is the mould test that detects the 5 main moulds. Living with mould is a risk for your lungs and can cause serious health hazards. Detection of mould can reduce your exposure and live in a safe environment. Detections also such severe situations such as people with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome(CIRS) if the household is good for them to reside or not.
Difference between HERTSMI-2 and ERMI testing
- HERTSMI-2 detects specifically 5 moulds whereas ERMI detects 30+ mould species.
- ERMI has an easy resulting method.
- HERTSMI-2 is more price-convenient than ERMI.
HERTSMI-2 Score
A HERTSMI-2 Score < 10 indicates that the household is safe for residents.
